The track at a glance

Before you start

  1. Free Gemini API key for you and each student — aistudio.google.com/apikey (free, no card). Every notebook uses it.
  2. Present the deck: open a week's deck and press S for Speaker View (coach notes + timer + next slide). F = fullscreen.
  3. Open the notebook: download the week's .ipynb, then in Colab → File → Upload notebook. Kids run cells top to bottom.
  4. Print the energizer card and grab any props it lists (index cards, paddles, etc.).

Protect the build time

Theory is the setup; the build is the payoff. Keep theory tight, run the energizer to reset energy, then give kids the longest possible uninterrupted stretch in Colab. Pair them up so no one is stuck alone on a setup or tool error, and keep the free Gemini key on the board.
